Kathryn does not practice Energy Medicine. Kathryn holds an active RN license in Oregon but does not advertise or formally practice under the RN license, nevertheless, she ethically observes the guidelines presented in the Complementary and Alternative Modalities and Nursing Practice Guidelines and Directions for RN practice of Alternative and Complementary Practice, as well as the Oregon State. Also, Oregon State has no specific legislation regarding the practice of Life Force energy healing at this time, which is a “no-touch” use of deeply connected heart/thought intention. Furthermore, Kathryn Sweas does not use the words ‘diagnose’, ‘treat’, ‘cure’, or ‘prevent,’ as these terms imply medical intervention. Kathryn will not perform medical treatments, prescribe substances, or interfere in any way with the treatment of a licensed medical professional.
